Tim Duncan
The Spurs public scrimmage at the AT&T Center was followed Sunday by a 3-point shootout that produced a surprise ending: a victory for power forward Tim Duncan.
Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan has lost 15 pounds. Duncan has also lost pain in his knees.
This summer, he returned to his first sport, swimming, when he has not been on an anti-gravity treadmill that was recently added to the Spurs’ practice facility.
David Robinson
David Robinson gave props to former teammate Tim Duncan during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech on Friday.
“Timmy, my man,” Robinson said while looking over at a Spurs contingent in the audience that included Duncan, coach Gregg Popovich, owner Peter Holt and general manager R.C. Buford. “The greatest power forward ever to play the game, in my opinion.”
Tim Duncan
For the 12th time in his 12 seasons, Spurs forward Tim Duncan found his name listed on one of the NBA’s All-Defensive teams Wednesday. In doing so, he etched his name deeper into the league record books.
Parker w. Longoria
Even though Tony Parker’s stellar performance has not put him over as a legitimate MVP candidate this season, Tim Duncan believes that his credentials should not be completely overlooked.
For yesterday’s game in San Antonio, Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni sent another snub to Stephon Marbury. Instead of activating a physically healthy Starbury for the loss of Danilo Gallinari, D’Antoni instead chose to replace the chronically injured italian with Eddy Curry in the lineup.
The Orlando Sentinel recently listed their top 5 NBA tattoos in honor of Gilbert Arena’s new Barack Obama tattoo on his finger:
In yesterday’s loss to the Miami Heat, the NBA’s current leading scorer, Tony Parker, sprained his left ankle late in the first quarter. A televised replay showed that Parker landed awkwardly after driving to the basket. X-rays taken at the arena were negative.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
Darjan Milojkovic
