Shawn Marion
Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry and head coach Mike Brown flew to Los Angeles on Sunday to begin courting undisclosed free agents.

Hedo Turkoglu
Free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu has broken off negotiations with the Portland Trail Blazers, a source told ESPN’s Ric Bucher on Friday night.

Toronto reportedly remains in contention to re-sign forward Shawn Marion, who is attracting very little interest on the open market.
General manager Bryan Colangelo said last week he had a number in mind for a contract offer to Marion, who was paid almost $18 million last season and will surely take a significant pay cut.

According to sources, Shawn Marion is very likely to leave Toronto. However, before he leaves, the Matrix plans to visit Canadian vacation hotspots such as Niagara Falls and Montreal over the next few days.
Toronto Raptors
When Shawn Marion was traded to the Toronto Raptors, everyone expected him to flourish in the team’s uptempo offense. It originally seemed as a great fit, especially with some of the talent already on the team. However, the Raptors have fallen to 2-8 since the trade and things haven’t been working as planned.

Brad Miller on his way out?
According to sources, Brad Miller could be on his way out of Sacramento before the trading deadline strikes. Although his value has declined due to his inability to replicate the 07-08 NBA season, teams have expressed interest in acquiring the big man.
Varejao to Heat?
The Cleveland Cavaliers are having ongoing discussions with the Miami Heat about acquiring Shawn Marion in exchange for Wally Szczerbiak and Anderson Varejao. The Heat have been entertaining offers for Marion as he has failed to live up to the expectations after being dealt in the Shaquille O’Neal trade last season.
After having dealt Jamal Crawford to the Warriors and Zach Randolph to the Clippers to clear $27 million in salary-cap space for the 2010-11 season, next player on the agenda for Donnie Walsh to move is Stephon Marbury.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
