Jordan Farmar
Lakers team doctor has announced that Jordan Farmar needs surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee. The injury, which Farmar sustained after stealing the ball and going for a layup Friday at Miami, has also been confirmed by another Los Angeles based doctor. Farmar now only has to determine the time, date, and doctor for the procedure that could sideline the Lakers guard for up to eight weeks.

During yesterday’s game between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers, the TNT crew talked about an altercation between Trevor Ariza and Sasha Vujacic.
The argument arose after Ariza had the ball under the basket and passed it out to Vujacic on the wing. Instead of passing it back to a wide open Ariza, Vujacic launched another 3-pointer that was way off. Soon thereafter, a timeout was called and that is when Ariza began to confront Vujacic.

The Los Angeles Lakers announced yesterday that Sasha Vujacic has an vulsion fracture of the left ankle. As a result, the guard from Slovenia will not be able to participate in any basketball related activities for the next 10-14 days.

Restricted free agent Sasha Vujacic had a breakout year last season and his impact on the court was certainly one of the reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers got to the NBA Finals. After all, not many players can fill the backup role of Kobe Bryant as well as Vujacic has done.
