Barkley: Phil’s Done, Definitely Gone

Posted by: Darjan Milojkovic In: NBA Rumors

After the Lakers won their 15th championship, Charles Barkley was quick to voice his opinion on Phil Jackson.

“I don’t know if he’s the greatest coach of all time, but Phil Jackson is in the conversation. I mean, you win 10 championships — that’s pretty impressive. But I don’t think he’s coming back. Phil’s done. I just think he’s had enough. He’s definitely gone. That’s just my opinion, though.”

Lakers coach Phil Jackson saw his team lose another game to a short-handed Rockets club, but he is not worried.

“There’s nothing to worry about,” Jackson said after Houston’s 95-80 win in Game 6. “It’s just a game and we’re going to go out there and play, and it’s our home court. … The last game [at home] we beat them by whatever. We play a different game on our home court. It’s pretty obvious now to see.”

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,

Darjan Milojkovic
