The Cavs tied an NBA record in the 97-92 overtime victory over the Trail Blazers by turning the ball over just twice. The second turnover came in the final seconds as Mo Williams was trying to run out of the clock and a pass at the rim went out of bounds.

Mo Williams was not voted in by the fans to participate in the All-Star game in Phoenix, nor was he chosen by Eastern Conference head coaches as a reserve despite a stellar performance this season. He was also passed over by NBA commissioner David Stern in favor of Boston’s Ray Allen, who is replacing injured Orlando guard Jameer Nelson on the roster.
Cavs Opener!
The Cleveland Cavaliers voiced a lot of displeasure over only sending LeBron James to represent the organization to the All-Star Game in Phoenix this year. However, this time around, the frustration grew larger after NBA commissioner David Stern replaced injured guard Jameer Nelson with Ray Allen instead of Mo Williams.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
