The Golden State Warriors have officially waived point guard Marcus Williams. This comes as no shock after Coach Nellie had clearly written him off during training camp.

In a attempt to try and fill the void at the point guard spot that Monta Ellis created with his recent injury, the Golden State Warriors have added a fourth point guard to their roster. According to sources, six year journeyman Dan Dickau has signed with the team today, but the terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
Tuesday Morning the New Jersey Nets sent Guard Marcus Williams to the Golden State Warriors in exchange of a first round future draft pick.
He’s been with the Nets for the past two years where he played in 132 games averaging 16.6 Minutes, 6.4 Points and 3.0 Assists.
