An NBA agent by the name of David Falk told radio station WJFK in D.C. that Michael Jordan, then with the Washington Wizards, did not make the decision to draft Kwame Brown with the top overall pick in 2001.

McDyess Off the Bench

After Ben Wallace left Detroit to sign with the Chicago Bulls, there was a big gap in the middle that had to be filled. Eventually, NBA veteran Antonio McDyess stepped up and has been serving as the starting center for the past 2 years.

Kwame Jamming In Motown Next Season

It has been reported that Kwame Brown has agreed to sign with the Detroit Pistons. The deal is worth roughly around $8 million for two years and Kwame is likely to sign today, July 29th. It will also include a player option, in which Brown can opt out of the second year if he chooses to. Will Kwame play backup center for Rasheed? Let’s first see if Rasheed will still be in Motown next season. Stay tuned!

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
