Free-agent swingman Keith Bogans will sign a one-year contract with the San Antonio Spurs, sources confirmed Monday to FanHouse.
Bogans, a solid defensive player, is being looked at as an heir apparent to Bruce Bowen, who retired recently after being San Antonio’s perimeter defensive stopper throughout much of the decade.

With a recent trade between the Orlando Magic and Milwaukee Bucks, the Magic are reuniting with point guard Tyronn Lue, who played in Orlando during the 2003-2004 season. In return, the Bucks will receive Keith Bogans and cash.

A recently released insider report by ESPN suggests that the Orlando Magic will be in the market for another point guard if Jameer Nelson’s injury turns out to be season-ending. If this proves to be true, they will most likely go after Chicago Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich.
