According to sources, Josh Childress is returning to Olympiakos for the 2009-10 season.
Childress told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he has decided not to opt out of his contract with the Greek club.

Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry and head coach Mike Brown flew to Los Angeles on Sunday to begin courting undisclosed free agents.
Agent Dan Fegan, who represents both Anderson Varejao and Shawn Marion, is based in Los Angeles and often conducts negotiating sessions there.

Hawks vs Lakers
The Atlanta Hawks have not had much contact with Josh Childress, who can opt out of his deal and return to the NBA. If he does return, the Hawks would have to tender Childress his qualifying offer or he would become an unrestricted free agent.

Josh Childress spent his first years in the NBA with Atlanta Hawks and he is now a restricted free agent. Unfortunately, he is not pleased with how his club is neglecting any contract talks with him until they have signed Josh Smith. As a result, his agent has been looking to Europe to create some value for his client.
