Jose Calderon is currently shooting 97.8% from the free throw line, which would set a new NBA season record in efficiency.

Calderon, however, was a 65% free throw shooter when he was 21-years-old playing for Alicante of the Spanish league. He went on to shoot 85% as a rookie with the Raptors in 2005.

Jose Calderon Perfect at Free Throw Line

Toronto Raptors’ point guard Jose Calderon is on the road to possibly breaking the record for consecutive made free throws in the NBA. He has not missed a free throw since Aprill 11th of last season bringing him at a perfect 62 for 62 made free throws to date.

Taurean Goes for the Green in Spain

Former Gator and NCAA Champion, Taurean Green is expected to be the latest NBA player going overseas. Green has confirmed that he will sign a one year deal with the Spanish club, CAI Zaragoza. The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
