When Gilbert Arenas returned to the lineup on Saturday, people began to wonder why he would choose to return for several meaningless end-of-season games? According to the Washington Post, Arenas simply needed to find out if he could play sooner, rather than later.

Washington Post reports that it is becoming increasingly unlikely that we will get to see Gilbert Arenas in uniform before the regular season ends April 15 at Boston for the Wizards.
If you look on Gilbert Arenas’s calendar, you may find January 20th, 2009 circled, marked with an check, or even colored in red white and blue. No, not because he expects to comeback from his injury (hopefully, he’ll be back by then) or even play against a major contender in the Eastern Conference. It actually has nothing to do with basketball.
It has been reported that Gilbert Arenas will not suit up for the opening game against the New Jersey Nets on Oct. 29th. In fact, it looks like he will miss the first month of the NBA season due to a surgical procedure that he underwent this morning to clean out some debris.
The next step for the Washington Wizards is to proceed with negotations over their next All-Star player, Gilbert Arenas. Just like Antawn Jamison, he is expected to resign with the ball club.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
