Hornets center Emeka Okafor could miss the remainder of training camp because of knee soreness.
“We’re just trying to limit him right now, but we will find out a little more tomorrow,” head coach Byron Scott told the Times-Picayune. “We have some concerns of something that he did this summer, so we just want to make sure he’s OK before we try to put him through a full day of practice.”

The Charlotte Bobcats are finalizing a trade that would send Emeka Okafor to the New Orleans Hornets for Tyson Chandler, according to two people familiar with the deal.
Who will be the new player?
According to sources, the Charlotte Bobcats are expected to make a blockbuster trade within the next couple of hours. It has been clear that Gerald Wallace has been on the trading block for the past couple of weeks and the Bobcats are looking to acquire a center to play alongside Emeka Okafor.
