Knicks general manager Donnie Walsh believes that Darko Milicic can blossom in New York.
“He was a very skilled player when he was drafted,” Walsh said, according to the New York Post. “I think the thing that’s held him back is he’s been thought of as a guy that has to play with his back to the basket. And everywhere he’s been, people have tried to do that.

As Antoine Walker enters his 13th season in the NBA, he will look to fill a new role on the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster.
According to sources, Walker has been told by his coaches that he will not get a lot of playing time this season. The Grizzlies are now one of the youngest teams in the NBA and will look to develop their younger forwards. Darko Milicic, Hakim Warrick and rookie Darrell Arthur all play the same position as Antoine.
One of the longest running rumors this summer has been over a suggested trade between New York and Memphis.
Knicks want to get rid of Zach Randolph’s hefty 2-year contract in an attempt to land LeBron James in 2010. The Grizzlies, in turn, have too many guards on the roster and are simply in need of big men who can score.
The Memphis Grizzlies have inked a deal with Iranian big man, Hamed Haddadi. According to sources, he has signed a multi-year deal that is worth close to that of a 1st round draft pick. Terms of the contract have not yet been disclosed.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
