It has been reported that Cuttino Mobley is strongly considering a medical retirement because of an enlarged heart condition. Mobley has one more test to undergo in Minnesota today before he will make his final decision. Allegedly, he might announce his departure from the league as soon as tomorrow according to a person familiar with the situation.
Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers have acquired Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins from the New York Knicks for Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas.
Zach Randolph has been the Knicks’ leading scorer thus far in the season, as well as, rebounder averaging 20.5 ppg and 12.5 rpg respectively. For the Clippers, the move will primarily give them much needed help in the low post but might also help bolster a fresh new start to the struggling franchise with the addition of two new faces.
