Kevin Garnett
If all goes according to plan, a returned-to-full-health Kevin Garnett will join the 40,000-minutes club just before Thanksgiving.
Garnett enters the season with 39,635.
With three years left on his contract, he has already logged more time than Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Isiah Thomas, and Dominique Wilkins.
“I don’t know if he’s the greatest coach of all time, but Phil Jackson is in the conversation. I mean, you win 10 championships — that’s pretty impressive. But I don’t think he’s coming back. Phil’s done. I just think he’s had enough. He’s definitely gone. That’s just my opinion, though.”

TNT’s Charles Barkley, who called (Jason) Kidd “the best leader in basketball” after last season’s blockbuster trade, does not think the future Hall of Famer can be anything more than a bit player on a title team now.
Everybody knows that Charles Barkley tends to make outrageous comments and has a history of upsetting people. On last Thursday night’s edition of “Inside the NBA”, it was LeBron James’ turn to get criticized for entertaining questions about 2010 when the Cavs played the Knicks in New York.
Nope, we are not talking about a basketball game…
NBA has teamed up with TNT to broadcast its first ever outdoors basketball game. The game will feature a preseason matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
