Blazers Throwback Jerseys
One is a throwback from the 1970s, when the Blazers name ran vertically down the jersey in lowercase letters. The other alternate uniform has the phrase “Rip City” across the chest.

Brandon Roy and the Trail Blazers are getting close to an agreement on a long-term contract extension.
Bob Myers, who represents Roy, said on Tuesday that the negotiations have taken a decided turn for the better this week.
Hedo Turkoglu
Trail Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard called agent Lon Babby about Hedo Turkoglu once free agency opened late Tuesday night.
“Kevin Pritchard and [assistant general manager] Tom Penn called me at the earliest possible moment and expressed enthusiasm for engaging in discussions about Hedo becoming a Trail Blazer,” Babby told the Oregonian.
Brandon Roy
The Portland Trailblazers are ahead of schedule and though they will make some moves this summer, the core is expected to remain together.
“Not that much, really,” said Brandon Roy after their Game 6 elimination when asked what the Blazers need. “Maybe a banger, a power forward, a rebounder in back of LaMarcus (Aldridge). Something like that.
The most exciting Trail Blazer in the preseason so far has not been Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, or LaMarcus Aldridge. As a matter of fact, the guy has not even played his official NBA game yet.
Reserve forward Raef Lafrentz will miss the majority off this season due to a shoulder injury. He injured the shoulder in a February game at Seattle and was hoping to avoid surgery. However, the damaged shoulder never healed properly and he is now set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on Sept. 26.
The Portland Trailblazers are one of the youngest teams in the NBA. They finished last season with a solid record and even nurtured an All-Star in Brandon Roy. This season, however, they are looking to make an even bigger impact in the Western Conference.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
