According to ESPN, Andrea Bargnani will soon have his long-term future secured with the Toronto Raptors.
Bargnani’s agent, Leon Rose, revealed on Tuesday night that the Raptors have reached an agreement in principle on a contract extension for the 7-foot Italian, who was selected No. 1 overall by the Raptors in the 2006 draft.

It has been rumored that the Raptors and the Mavericks are currently negotiating a blockbuster deal that would send Josh Howard across the Canadian border. Toronto has been on the marker for a small forward the entire season and they might have found the ideal candidate in the former All-Star. If the deal goes through, Dallas would send Howard to Toronto with DeSagana Diop in return for Andra Bargnani and Anthony Parker.

According to the Daily News, an un-named NBA team General Manager confirmed that both Anthony Parker and former 2006 number 1 overall draft pick, Andrea Bargnani, are on the trading block.
