According to sources, the Miami Heat’s interest in Chris Bosh apparently is mutual.
A friend of the Toronto power forward said Bosh has interest in playing for Miami, which would love to add him via trade this summer or free agency in 2010.
Both had contracts mandating they “opt in” for the final years of their deal. O’Neal will make nearly $23 million in 2009-10, while Diawara’s salary is around $900,000.

The Heat has strong interest in Chris Bosh, but it has not offered to trade Michael Beasley in a package for potential 2010 free agents Bosh or Amare Stoudemire, and there is sentiment inside the Heat against offering Beasley.

One veteran NBA scout’s view after watching Jermaine O’Neal (five points, two rebounds) in Game 1 against Atlanta: “He didn’t even look into it, wasn’t ready for the ball on passes. You’ve got to show some emotion in the playoffs. He looks shot.”

Pistons coach Michael Curry was ejected in the final seconds of Sunday’s loss to the Heat, and a few players commented on the officiating after the game.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.
We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
Sincerely,
