Agent Leon Rose declined to further comment on Tuesday, but admitted that he expected to talk with Charlotte when free agency began on Wednesday.

Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins said Wednesday it is a foregone conclusion Raymond Felton will receive a qualifying offer (about $5.5 million for next season) from the club.

Bobcats majority owner Bob Johnson has increased his efforts to sell the team.
Johnson recently hired a sports investment banker to help him look for potential buyers.

With Allen Iverson becoming an unrestricted free agent this summer, there are some who think he and Larry Brown, who coached the 10-time all-star in Philadelphia, will reunite in Charlotte, where Brown now coaches the Bobcats.

Last month, the Lakers acquired Morrison and Shannon Brown from the Charlotte Bobcats for Radmanovic, a move that saved the Lakers about $17 million in salary and luxury taxes.

Sean May’s contract, originally signed after the Bobcats drafted him 13th in the summer of 2005, expires in July. It seems unlikely the Bobcats would make a $3.6 million qualifying offer to restrict his free agency.
