Canadian newspapers are confirming a report from Canadian press that that Suns guard Steve Nash will carry the 2010 Winter Olympics torch on its path to the games in his home province.
Nash, a Victoria, British Columbia, native, will have the torch for a portion of the 106-day journey across every province and territory of Canada.
The games will be Feb. 12-28 in Vancouver and Whistler, B.C.
NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.
Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court.
