Mo Cheeks to Succeed Scott Brooks?

At first glance, newly named Thunder assistant coach Maurice Cheeks might appear to be the heir apparent in the event Scott Brooks flames out in his first full run as head coach.

Cheeks owns a 284-286 record over the equivalent of about seven full seasons as the lead man in Portland and Philadelphia.

He has guided his teams to the playoffs three times and he is one of the most mannerly men in coaching.

It is enough to make you believe Brooks should keep one eye on the court and the other cocked over his shoulder.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
