Tony Parker commented on the Manu Ginobili trade rumors on Thursday.

“I don’t know why he said that, but I don’t think he’s going nowhere,” Parker said.

“Everybody loves him here, and I love playing with him, and I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

“If I was him, I wouldn’t second-guess anything. He’s like God here. Come on, man. He speaks Spanish and everything. He’s not going anywhere.”

Well tony put my mind to ease Slightly. It will be a sad day if my beloved spurs were to ever trade Manu or release him. Everybody knows a healthy Ginobili is irreplacable. Ginobili is probably the second best SG after kobe in the league. I have always felt that Timmy, Tony and Manu would all retire in San Antonio. The 3 championships surely wouldn’t have be won without Manu. So im confident our spurs wont trade our fan favorite Emanuel Ginobili.

I think Spurs fans are universal, Darjan. We all love the Spurs in one way or another. I do agree with Brooklyn about Manu being an integral part of the Spurs and without him the Spurs would not be the dynasty that they are. Even Kobe respects him for the way he makes the game both fun (for Spurs fans) and difficult (for the opposing team). And getting that much respect from a legitimate MVP like Kobe is not something that you can see in a given day. I want to see the three of them retire as Spurs and then see the team retire their numbers sometime in the future. I think Manu should be given the respect that he deserves given how much he’s given to the team.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
