Orlando Magic All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson had no regrets about returning earlier than expected for the NBA finals and said it will not affect his rehabilitation.
Nelson underwent what was called season-ending shoulder surgery for a torn labrum in February, but returned to play in all five of Orlando’s Finals games against Los Angeles.
“I don’t regret coming back,” Nelson said. “I regret some of the plays I made, but I don’t regret coming back. Now I just have to listen to the training staff and get ready to play next season. I’ll be fine.”
