Cuban Offered Varejao Contract?

Posted by: Darjan Milojkovic In: NBA Rumors

Varejao to Heat?

Anderson Varejao

Reports that Dallas owner Mark Cuban has already offered Cavaliers power forward Anderson Varejao a three-year contract, which would constitute a serious breach of NBA rules, have been largely discredited.

Varejao is expected to opt out of the final year of his contract, which would pay him $6.2 million, and become an unrestricted free agent.

The earliest he and agent Dan Fegan can begin negotiations on a new deal is July 1.

“That’s not something for us to comment on,” Ferry said of the Varejao reports. “Anderson’s under contract (right now). We value his contributions.”

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
