Barkley: Jason Kidd is at the End

TNT’s Charles Barkley, who called (Jason) Kidd “the best leader in basketball” after last season’s blockbuster trade, does not think the future Hall of Famer can be anything more than a bit player on a title team now.

“Jason Kidd has been a great player,” Barkley said. “He’s been a Hall of Famer, but he’s at the end of the road.”

Interrupted Kenny Smith, who won two titles as Hakeem Olajuwon’s point guard: “He still can lead a team, run a team.”

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court.
