Chris Paul has been as excellent as ever this season, but he has not been mentioned in the MVP race like he was during the 2007-08 season due to the Hornets record.

Although, Paul said he is not personally disappointed in his absence among the MVP candidates.

“I feel like I get my fair share of notoriety,” he said. “We’re not one of those teams that’s at the top of the conference standings like we were last year, I guess. Maybe it’s a good thing. Hopefully this year we’ll come to the playoffs and be a team that makes a lot of noise.

“I mean, last year was unbelievable being in the MVP race. It was a lot of fun, all the hoopla about it. But this year, I feel like I’m having a better year this year than last year. I feel I’m shooting the ball at a higher percentage and stuff like that.”

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
