The Big Diesel
According to sources, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been aggressively pursuing teams for a trade that will hopefully capture another premier player to assist LeBron in winning a championship.
Apparently they have been in serious discussions with the Phoenix Suns for the big cactus, Shaquille O’Neal. The Cavs will, in turn, send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Suns.
The Suns have also been in discussions with the Milwaukee Bucks for swingman, Richard Jefferson, offering Wally Szczerbiak and his $13 million expiring contract.
Even if these trades do not go through, the Cavs are showing LeBron that they are willing to do whatever it takes to keep him through the 2010 free agent summer.
