Carmelo Anthony Replace CP3 for ASW?

It looks as if one of the Denver Nuggets will be called to replace Chris Paul in the Western All-Star lineup if indeed Chris can not play because of his pulled groin.

CP3 will undergo an MRI tomorrow and once the results are in, Paul and the Hornets will make a decision on All-Star Weekend.

Since groin strains are likely to linger for a few weeks, the Hornets would likely persuade Paul to sit out, so they can continue on their quest for homecourt advantage in the playoffs.

A replacement for Paul could come out of Denver. Both Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups have played exceptional thus far in the season and it would not be a shock if Stern selected either Nugget to play.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
