Oklahoma City Thunder home court.
The Oklahoma Thunder made an offer to former New Jersey Nets’ center Nenad Krstic. The Nets have until Monday, December 29th to match the offer, otherwise, Krstic will sign, what is rumored to be, a 3 year $15 million deal.
According to sources, the Nets are most likely not going to resign Krstic due to their plan on saving salary cap space for the 2010 free agent summer.
After becoming a free agent last summer, Krstic decided to play for the Triumph Moscow and signed a deal worth 3 million euro (approx. $6-$7 million) per year.
After watching him during his euro league play, the Thunder believe that Krstic is fully healed from his Knee injury that he sustained a few seasons ago and he is ready to play at the competitive level he once did.
