Carlos Boozer has officially stated, on Wednesday night, that he will opt out of his guaranteed $12.66 million contract to become an unrestricted free agent next season.

Varejao to Heat?
The Cleveland Cavaliers are having ongoing discussions with the Miami Heat about acquiring Shawn Marion in exchange for Wally Szczerbiak and Anderson Varejao. The Heat have been entertaining offers for Marion as he has failed to live up to the expectations after being dealt in the Shaquille O’Neal trade last season.
Dikembe Mutombo
NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo is rumored to return for one last season and he might sign with none other than last year’s champions — the Boston Celtics. Mutombo, who has blocked 3,278 shots during his 17-year career, said he is in “good shape” from working out three hours a day with spinning classes, yoga, and weightlifting.
Bonzi Wells
Former Houston Rockets’ guard Bonzi Wells has signed a one-year contract Shanxi Zhongyu of the Chinese Basketball Association league. Terms of the contract were not disclosed but the club manager Zhang Beihai revealed that Bonzi’s salary is in the range of $40,000 USD.
Nuggets are Rebuilding

And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court.
