After suffering a loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Coach Don Nelson has reportedly relinquished his defensive coaching decisions and empowered assistant coaches Sidney Moncrief and Keith Smart to focus on the defense.

“I’ve decided to identify one of my weaknesses at this point of my life,” Nelson said. “I’m not tough enough anymore. I’m getting soft as I get older and I feel like I haven’t done a very good job defensively this year.”

The Warriors currently rank at the NBA’s worst in points allowed per game standing at a whopping 112.1 points.

Jamal Crawford seemed shocked when he heard the recent coaching decision. “This is the first I’ve heard of it,” Crawford said. “I hope it works…We need to get better.”

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
