According to sources, the Charlotte Bobcats are expected to make a blockbuster trade within the next couple of hours. It has been clear that Gerald Wallace has been on the trading block for the past couple of weeks and the Bobcats are looking to acquire a center to play alongside Emeka Okafor.
Both the Los Angeles Clippers and the New Jersey Nets have been in serious trade discussions with the Bobcats and sources expect a trade to happen soon with either team.
They have already inquired about Antonio McDyess, but apparently he is not interested and still looking forward to signing with the Detroit Pistons.
Yesterday, the Charlotte Bobcats waived Linton Johnson III and Andre Johnson from their roster bringing their team down to 13 players. Will they make a 3-for-1 trade? We will keep you updated.
