Shaq Already Hacked

Shaquille O'Neal

A couple of weeks back, Shaq said in an interview that he would punish the Spurs this year if they were to implement the Hack-A-Shaq in the game. So when the Suns faced the Spurs last night, Shaq was on a mission.

Often accused of playing boring basketball, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich ordered Michael Finley to intentionally foul O’Neal just five second into the game. The move left the Suns and O’Neal looking very surprised but more interestingly, when the camera zoomed in on Popovich he was grinning, as well as, sticking up both his thumbs in O’Neal’s direction.

The big man responded with a laugh and the rivalry quickly thereafter resumed between the two teams. And if you are curious, Shaq finished the game with 15 points and 13 rebounds and he went 5-8 from the free throw line. Question is, did he make them pay?

Hahaha, I’ve seen this video many times and yet everytime I see it it is funny. Shaq is a funny guy and Popo for going along with his act.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
