The New York Knicks have announced today that they have cut fan favorite Patrick Ewing Jr. They gave their last roster spot to Anthony Roberson who signed a one year $800,000 contract during the Las Vegas Summer League in July.
Antoine Walker
As Antoine Walker enters his 13th season in the NBA, he will look to fill a new role on the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster.
According to sources, Walker has been told by his coaches that he will not get a lot of playing time this season. The Grizzlies are now one of the youngest teams in the NBA and will look to develop their younger forwards. Darko Milicic, Hakim Warrick and rookie Darrell Arthur all play the same position as Antoine.
Will Z-Bo play with LeBron?
One rumor that has risen to the surface of the NBA includes another potential deal with Zach Randolph. Apparently, the Cleveland Cavaliers are now interested in trading for Z-Bo, who has been solid in the pre-season.
Isiah Taken to Hospital
A source has confirmed to the CBS station in New York that the police were sent to the home of Isiah Thomas after being informed hat he had overdosed on sleeping pills. The former Knicks’ General Manager and coach is currently being treated at the White Plains Hospital but the severity of his condition is not yet known.
