Shaun Livingston has so far received interest to play in Minnesota and Portland but nothing has materialized beyond workouts. Now, it has also been confirmed that Miami is interested in his services.
“At this point, he is leaning toward Miami, but he has not signed anything,” agent Henry Thomas said Monday.
The Heat currently have Chris Quinn, Marcus Banks, and Mario Chalmers competing for time at the point-guard position. However, none of them is considered to be a true starter at this point. That is why Livingston could be the savior of the team.
In addition, there were rumors going on whether Miami was going to bring in a veteran point-guard or not (Stephon Marbury?) but Pat Riley has since denied those rumors.
