Last week when the Portland Trailblazers faced the Sacramento Kings, Kevin Martin won a $1,000 from teammate Mikki Moore for becoming the first, between the two, to dunk on Greg Oden.
“Mikki Moore (Kings forward) made a bet when we played them the first time, who ever dunked on Oden gets a $1,000,” Martin told the media.
Then, when the Blazers played the Los Angeles Clippers, Ricky Davis placed a $500 bet to several of his teammates on who would be the first to dunk on Oden. Fortunately, Davis kept his $500 and Oden did not get slammed on.
Now, it is no secret that Oden is targeted and he is ready prove that he is the well deserved number 1 draft pick everyone thought he was. “I guess it says guys are going after me,” Oden said to the NY Times. “I’ve got to look out.”
