X-Rays have confirmed that Baron Davis did not break his left ring finger in practice last Friday. However, there is a possibility that he could have ruptured a tendon, which would require surgery. If he undergoes surgery, Baron will likely be out between 4 – 6 weeks.

Today, Baron will see a hand specialist to determine whether or not the star guard will need surgery. If not, Baron will still likely be sidelined up to 3 weeks.

The Los Angeles Clippers begin there season on Oct. 29th. If he is out for three weeks, Davis will miss up to 6 games.

“It doesn’t feel good,” Davis said, according to the Los Angeles Times. “It’s not comfortable, not a comfortable feeling. … The good thing is that it is the preseason, so you can deal with all your bumps and bruises early.”

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
