It looks as if the Knicks’ number 6th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft will not be ready for training camp in two weeks. It is believed that Danilo Gallinari is still having back issues and needs time to recover.

The injury occurred during Danilo’s first (and last) summer league game in Las Vegas. He put up 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes of play. It is believed that Gallinari sustained the injury after driving to the basket only to get knocked down by Robert “Tractor” Traylor.

Many have specualted whether or not Danilo will be able to endur the bumps and bruises that the NBA has to offer. Some may argue that he is fragile and will need some time to adjust to the physicality of the NBA.

Let us (Knicks fans) hope that he will recover and be the true Italian Stallion that he is made out to be.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
