Hornets Making their Mark

The New Orleans Hornets have signed forward Sean Marks to help bolster their frontcourt. Terms of the contract were not disclosed in the press-release.

Sean Marks will most likely come off the bench and compete with Hilton Armstrong and Melvin Ely for minutes behind starting center Tyson Chandler. Marks is a solid rebounder who prefers to play facing the basket. He has a formidable mid-range shot that can cause havoc against other centers in the league who do not like to play perimeter defense.

The nine year veteran Marks, is the second free agent that the Hornets have acquired this summer. Last week, they also signed guard Devin Brown to an undisclosed contract as well. Marks has previously played for Toronto, Miami, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
