To date, Delonte West is still a restricted free agent and has not signed with any team. According to sources, both the Cleveland Cavaliers and West are at a stalemate with all negotiations. Apparently, Cleveland offered Delonte a multi-year deal that will pay him around $4 million per season, but he is looking for a contract that will offer him around $5.5 million per season.
His alternate option would be to sign a one year qualifying offer that will pay him around $2.76 million by September 30th. If he takes the one year offer, than Delonte will become an unrestricted free agent next season.
