Delonte West
On Friday afternoon, guard Delonte West and the Cleveland Cavaliers agreed to a multi-year contract. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed but sources believe that it is in the range of $4 to $5 million dollars per year.
“This is the first time since I was offered a scholarship at St. Joes that I feel like I am valued as a person and a player,” West said in a release issued by the team. “Dan Gilbert and the Cavaliers have shown me that they value me as a person and a player and that was the most important thing to me.”
Last season, Delonte West started 31 games averaging 8.6 PPG and 3.8 APG.
