It has been reported that shooting guard Damon Jones and the Milwaukee Bucks have mutually parted ways.
Jones who was expected to earn $4.4 million this season will forfeit his contract. Now, he will workout on his own and try to get on another NBA team.
Damon was sent to the Bucks via the Maurice Williams trade that included the Cleveland Cavaliers on August 13th.
Jones felt this was the best move for him since the Bucks have a wide array guards on their roster and his playing time could be limited. He also didn’t want to put himself in a position where he would be used as trade bait.
