Andrew Bogut is expected to return from Australia and report in healthy for Milwaukee’s training camp at the end of September.
During the Olympics in Beijing, Bogut suffered a badly sprained left ankle while competing against the U.S when he got tangled up with Kobe Bryant. However, a magnetic resonance imaging exam showed no serious damage, and Bogut has been rehabilitating the injury in his hometown of Melbourne.
Earlier this summer, Bogut signed a five-year, guaranteed $60 million deal, with the possibility to earn more in incentives. The 23 year old, the top overall pick in the 2005 National Basketball Association draft, will be entering his fourth season with the Bucks.
