Team USA Dominates Spain

Posted by: Darjan Milojkovic In: NBA Rumors

The Americans were set to face their toughest opposition, yet, in Beijing when they were going up against the Spaniards on Saturday. But for Team USA, it turned out to be a no-show. USA dominated Spain throughout the entire game and recorded its highest margin of victory with an impressive 119 – 82 win.

Dwyane Wade had another spectacular game off the bench with 16 points and Carmelo Anthony finally got his shooting going from beyond the arc. Nevertheless, the best player on the American roster was, unquestionably, yet again, LeBron James. The cavalier recorded game high 18 points and 7 assist – another remarkable all-round performance.

At the post-game interview with Chris Paul, he was asked whether they were trying to send a message. “We definitely tried to send a message”, he responded. If the Spaniards want another shot at the gold medal, they should rely on Argentina doing some of the job for them by beating the Americans in the playoffs.

The United States will finish as the No 1. seed in group B despite having to play one more game, on Monday, when they go up against Germany.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
