Spain Serves Germany

On Thursday afternoon, Spain defeated Dirk Nowitzki and his German squad. The Spaniards, along with the Argentinians and Americans, remain undefeated in their respective groups.

Pau Gasol scored 13 points while Jose Calderon added 13 more off the bench. Nowitzki and Chris Kaman were held to only 19 points, combined, in the loss.

Spain is set to face Team USA on Saturday, which is considered to be the best game of the tournament so far and maybe even a finals preview. When the game is over, one of the two teams will record its first loss in the tournament.

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court.
