Melo Loves Olympic Basketball!

Posted by: Carlos Vasquez In: NBA Rumors

Nobody is enjoying the games in Beijing like Denver Nuggets’ superstar Carmelo Anthony. In a recent interview, he was quick to reveal that he wants to be a part of the 2012 Olympic Games, which take place in London.

Nevertheless, when Team USA lost in the Semi-Finals during the 2006 World Championships in Greece, it was a different story. Back then, Melo did not sound very pleased about having signed on to coach Mike Krzyzewski’s 3-year commitment to Team USA. Taking into consideration the current success of the Redeem Team in Beijing, Anthony probably regrets the frustration he previously expressed.

Tomorrow at 8 A.M. (EST), Carmelo Anthony will join Team USA when they match up against Australia in the first round of the playoffs.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
