The Los Angeles Lakers added another foreign player to their repertoire with the signing of Sun Yue. Yue and the Lakers have agreed to a two year deal and the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet.

Sun Yue is a 6-foot-9 guard from China and he recently played in the Beijing Olympics. During his time on the Chinese National Team, Yue averaged 6.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 rebounds in six games. His diligent play is believed to what earned him a spot on the Lakers.

i don’t think will happen now, maybe after three years then the glue Yue can till how he can help the team. How tall is he really? 6′9 or some say 6′7. Thank you for the opportunity.

Hey Gene!

He is officially listed at 6′9 but most people believe he is closer to 6′8. He did have some nice moments in the Olympics but as you say, he probably needs a few years to improve on his game before being a threat in the NBA.

Best,

Darjan

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.
