Kobe to Play in Russia?

Kobe Bryant said over the weekend that he would leave the NBA to play in Russia if the contract is legit (money wise). Reports say that Russian Owners and Associates are working on a 40 million dollar per year deal that will basically double what he is currently earning in the U.S.

So far, more than 20 players from the NBA have left to go and play in Europe this year. There was a time when we thought that Kobe Bryant would never play in Europe but do not forget that anything is possible!

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court.
