Finley Commits to Spurs

Posted by: Stephanie West In: NBA Rumors

Veteran foward, Michael Finley, has reportedly resigned with the San Antonio Spurs to a multi-year contract. Finley, a 35 year old Chicago native, will most likely finish his career in the black and silver uniform.

Previously, it was rumored that Michael was hearing offers from teams in Europe, but he immediately turned them down because San Antonio is where Finley wanted to be. He also felt that it just was not right to move across the world at this point in his career.

If Finley had not resigned with the Spurs, it looked as if, the Cleveland Cavaliers would have made a hard push to sign the veteran. Danny Ferry was very interested when Michael was on the market.

The departure of Brent Barry to the Rockets might have pressured San Antonio to resign some of their veterans, namely Finley and Kurt Thomas.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
