Cleveland’s Ferry Still Buzzing Over West

Posted by: Stephanie West In: NBA Rumors

The addition of Maurice “Mo” Williams has many wondering if the Cleveland Cavaliers will still sign Delonte West. Before the trade, Delonte was offered a one year $2.76 million contract but he turned down the deal. Ever since, West has been shopping for a contract that could give him security for the next three to four years. It looked as if his wish came true when he was rumored to be negotiating with a European team, but West has been quoted saying he would like to stay with the Cavs’ organization.

Apparently, Danny Ferry would like Delonte to stay in Cleveland as well. It is believed that the one year offer of $2.76 million is still on the table for Delonte. West’s defense and versatility of playing both point and shooting guard makes him very valuable to Cleveland.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
